Mayor Duterte spearheaded the launch of Davao Central 911, the first fully integrated emergency response system in Asia and the first of its kind outside North America.

Key Features:

Single Hotline Access: Citizens could reach police, fire, and medical responders via a centralized 911 number.
Real-Time Dispatch: Used a GPS-enabled computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system.
Highly Trained Personnel: Staffed with paramedics, firefighters, and rapid responders trained to international standards.

Faster emergency response times.
Reduced fatalities in accidents and medical emergencies.
Became a model adopted by the Philippine national government.
